Indiana Jones And The Raiders Of The Lost Ark

Indiana Jones And The Raiders Of The Lost Ark
It's 1936 and adventure / archaeologist / professor, Indiana Jones, embarks on the expedition of a lifetime—to find the Ark of the Covenant before is falls into the hands of the Nazis. Enlisting the help of Sallah, and former love, Marion, Indy’s quest becomes more dangerous at every turn. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark”.

· After class, Indy and Brody go to the lecture hall to talk to the two government officials. In the wider view, Indy put the book on the table and one of the two straps on the book is unbuckled. In the close-up, when one of the officials comments that it’s “confidential”, the strap is now buckled. It remains buckled until Indy opens the book later in the scene.

· Marion takes the medallion out and is looking at it while the chain is still around her neck. The scene cuts to a different angle and she’s still looking at the medallion, but the chain is no longer hooked around her neck.

· Marion kisses Indy’s elbow. He then indicates that it doesn’t hurt on his forehead. In the close-up of Indy, when Marion reaches for his hat, she’s using her left hand to remove the fedora. It cuts to a front, wider view of Marion and she’s removing the hat with her right hand.

“Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark” (1981) stars Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, Paul Freeman, John Rhys-Davies, Ronald Lacey, Denholm Elliott, Alfred Molina and Wolf Kahler. It runs 115 minutes and is rated PG for violence, frightening and intense scenes.
